About Me

As a Sound and Music Production student, my deep-rooted passion for gaming has evolved into a professional ambition. My fascination with competitive titles like Hunt: Showdown and Valorant is rooted in how their audio design directly impacts gameplay, and I am driven to create sound that is not just immersive, but also functional.

My background as a live audio engineer taught me to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines and solve creative problems within a team—skills directly applicable to the agile development cycles in the games industry.

My creative toolkit isn't limited to audio; I also have skills in 2D and 3D applications like Gimp and Blender, giving me a broader understanding of the game development pipeline and a keen eye for general design principles.

Professional Experience

ESA Shield Game
Internship: Sound Designer

ESA Shield - Space Safety Game

During an internship with Steinbeis GmbH, commissioned by the European Space Agency (ESA), I worked as part of a two-person team on "ESA Shield." My core responsibilities included:

  • Conceptualizing and co-designing in-game sound effects and ambiences.
  • Handling the entire Wwise implementation and integration independently.
  • Collaborating on the composition and integration of the main soundtrack.
  • Adapting all audio for a full VR version of the game.

The project was successfully showcased at Gamescom in Cologne.
